Tutorial : Misaki's Disney Costumes

I just want to share some MMS pictures that Misaki sent to me gradually throughout the year 2009. She always update me about her progress in our Disney costumes. hoho.


This costume is the first costume that she made for Disney cosplay group. At first, she just sew Alice costume just like Alice in Wonderland movie (1951 film).

But then, Aina said she want Misaki to do some alteration to her costume because she think that Alice costume just plain compare to other Disney costumes.

She inspired by Kipi's Alice costume :




And asked Misaki to do her Alice dress like Kipi's Alice.


Misaki first attempt to make Alice's apron.

I don't want Aina to copy Kipi's alice version 100%, coz I want the costume still resemble the original dress. So, Misaki did her Apron full with addition of frill at the lower part.

So here is Aina's version of Alice costume =)

These are some pictures of my Belle dress (I put most of the pictures in Belle dress tutorial already =) )

Joyce helped me searched for Belle's gold cloth in Kamdar. Mid Valley.

Its really hard to find same fabric and color again. Nasihatku, beli la kain lebih sikit. Jangan beli cukup2 makan T_T Kang jadi susah mcm ku tercari2 di merata2 cawangan kamdar bila kain tak cukup T_T.


Hoho. This pic was taken after Misaki sew and combine the bodice and dress part together. Hohoho. Ku sgt teruja bila mendapat mms ini.

Misaki bought this fake diamond for my Belle dress :

Next costume is Snow White.

Hoho. Misaki didn't like the outcome of this arms part. She said too big for EJ. But I think its okay...but then a week later, she send me this picture :


Wah~! Really big~! Misaki pakai baju ni pun nampak longgar juga.

There is something wrong with EJ's measurement that she gave to Misaki. Somehow her measurement more bigger than me. Oh tidak2.

Misaki yang juga si cerewet no.2 (selepas ku cerewet no.1) telah buat kembali lengan Snow White dan dress. Dua kali kerja. peh.

Oh ya actually 3 kali kerja. Because before she send me Snow White costume, she redo back Snow White collar. Hoho sgt teliti. Bagus2.

Okay then, Megara costume :


Misaki said she having problem with Megara purple cloth. She cant sew it normally coz the cloth "narrate?" memeri? haha. kain tertarik2 gitu. lol.

After 3 days tried to figure out about it, Misaki finally finished the dress :

Next is Ariel's dress

The big challenge for this dress is Ariel's arm part. Very big~

Hoho~ Misaki finished this dress for about 1 weeks :

She said this costume pretty easy than my Belle dress. Lol~!

She did her Mulan costume for one week. While, Aurora costume she did it 4 days before CF.

Its a tough and creative year for Misaki and I learned a lot from her regarding costumes making.

These costumes arrived at my home 2 days before CF. I am so worried that we can't receive our costumes before CF T_T. Thank Allah I got this parcel on Thursday. T___T

Oh ya, just for your information, since Misaki stayed in Kelantan, we ordered all costumes by giving our measurement to Misaki and send her our fabrics and materials by mail. Most of the time, we discussed thru sms and phone call only. I really happy to work together with Misaki coz she understand my needs and details that I want in my group costumes. Thank you Misaki <3

Tutorial : Pocahontas's necklace

3 days before CF, Gk met mt to discuss about her Pocahontas's necklace. We went to Kajang together to buy stuff for her necklace.

Before that, we went to Cyberjaya to meet twin sisters to solve their wig problems.

That time everyone so rushing with their preparations before CF. Mas and Mara went to Cosplay Shop at Subang to rent wing for Tinkerbell, but the wing really weird. So dat time, Mara convinced her sister to make their own wing for Tinkerbell. For the wigs, I tried to restyle both wigs. Alhamdulillah everything turn up good.

Later, me and Gk went to Gamy Shop to buy materials for her necklace.

Got lots of buttons here. Awesome~

At home,
I helped her and used this white foam to draw the Pocahontas necklace :




And cut the shape by using scissor :


Gk tried to cover the foam by using blue ribbon :

This is just her trial before she put glue it by using double sided tape.

So, this is her end result for her Pocahontas necklace :
